Partial Granite Splash
An alternative to full slab granite splash is using a partial, usually 4" or 6", granite splash. This helps protect the walls from spills without covering the whole wall with granite or tile. This is a great backsplash for someone who wants to display pictures or other items on their other splash because it leaves two-thirds of the wall space between the upper and lower cabinets open.
